Sometimes, just one unforgettable character… In this case, Huntsman Greaves – known to friends simply as ‘Hunty’ – whose charismatic spirit and distinctive woven silver bangle caught the attention of Alexander Mavros during a chance encounter in Harare’s Happy Valley.
That moment sparked the creation of a piece unlike anything the family-owned brand has produced before. Built around a solid sterling silver core and meticulously woven with hand-drawn silver wire, The Huntsman Bangle is crafted entirely by hand in Patrick Mavros‘ Zimbabwe studio. “Every Patrick Mavros piece begins with a story, and The Huntsman is one of my favourites,” says Alexander Mavros. “It started with Huntsy’s remarkable mischievous character and a piece of jewellery that simply refused to be ignored. We wanted to capture a sense of adventure, individuality and intrigue in something entirely our own.”
