Newly appointed AEG ambassador for South Africa, Tendai ‘Beast’ Mtawarira and his wife Kuziva are feeling the Valentine’s love this month. The two lovebirds have launched the AEG’s Couple’s Challenge in which partners get to challenge the expected with each other.

“We are delighted that the Beast has taken on our ‘AEG Couple’s Challenge’ with his wonderful wife. He really put her to the test in this fun video quiz.  As a family-orientated brand, we celebrate the importance of nurturing relationships with our loved ones, especially in this month of love. We hope that the public will join in this light-hearted challenge, and enjoy taking on their partners in their own video quizzes,” said Michelle McGowan, Head of Marketing at Electrolux South Africa, which manufactures household appliances for AEG.

The Beast and his wife have invited their fellow couple-friends to join in the fun, including Anton and Boity, and Trace-Lee (Fitnessgirl) and Dean (Fitfoodtravelguy). The aim of the challenge is to see who can answer the most questions about each other correctly.

Couples wishing to participate in this initiative, are encouraged to follow AEG and tag the brand (#AEGcoupleschallenge #ChallengeTheExpected) in their own couple’s challenge video in which they quiz each other. All entrants stand a chance to win a luxurious hotel stay for two, a rejuvenating couple’s massage and some stunning AEG cookware.

Entries close on 28 February 2022. The winner will be announced on the AEG South Africa Instagram page.
