(South Africa, 09 November 2020) – Sony Electronics has announced the addition of four exciting new models to its High-Power Audio Systems range. The latest additions comprise the MHC-V83D, MHC-V73D, MHC-V43D and MHC-V13 audio systems and offer music-lovers who prefer one-box styled systems durability and captivating sound.
“We realise how powerful music can be and how the right sound can transform any occasion into a magical moment. Our new line-up of High-Power Audio Systems make any party or get-together among friends and family memorable, setting the mood with Omnidirectional Party Sound and Omnidirectional Party Lighting,” says Takakiyo Fujita, Managing Director at Sony Middle East and Africa. “This new line-up of High-Power Audio Systems features key upgrades for better power and improved sound quality, including the addition of a High-efficiency Tweeter that uses horn tweeters and High-efficiency Midrange that uses mid horn speakers.”
The V83D and V73D audio systems feature four tweeters at the front and rear to expand the sound output. Additionally, the midrange distributes sound from the front and the back of the speaker, covering a wider area with improved clarity for mid-range frequencies.
The V83D and V73D feature all-new Omnidirectional Party Lights that emit waves of deep blue, sky blue, green and multi-coloured lighting to create an authentic nightclub or outdoor festival experience.
A new Ambient light mode across the line-up makes it easier than ever to transition from party mode to relaxed family get-togethers where everyone can unwind with slower lighting animations.
The V83D, V73D and V43D boast a new DSP reverb module in the Microphone Echo feature, blending vocals with background music to create the ideal karaoke experience that mirrors the feeling of singing in a concert hall. A pair of dedicated built-in microphone holders [iii] contain the cables and microphone, giving a tidy and stress-free experience. Aspiring singers can make use of the Karaoke Ranking feature, available on the Fiestable app, to view their scores and rankings.
The range also features three different guitar modes for musicians, including Clean, for playing pop songs, Overdrive for rock and metal tracks and Bass for bass guitars. An all-new Party Playlist [iv] feature allows listeners to add their favourite songs to the playlist from their smartphones [v] via the Fiestable app.
To protect against inevitable knocks and bumps, the compact-sized V13 comes with two front corner protectors, and the bigger V83D, V73D and V43D come with a 360-degree robust design with a hard-plastic exterior and four corner protectors for added durability.
