Nederburg’s Sunset Stoep Sessions Are Back, Now On Saturdays

Add some relaxed excitement to your weekend with Nederburg’s Saturday Sunset Stoep Sessions, presented from October until April at the popular Paarl wine farm’s The Manor eatery.

Savour some of Nederburg’s fine wines with delicious bites, whilst watching the sun set over the budding vineyards with the majestic Drakenstein mountains, and listening to live music.

The local music performances kick off at 15:00 (until 18:00) each Saturday in summer, but the team invites you to join earlier for a complimentary drink.

The line-up of artists for November:

5 November: Liam Culbert

Liam Culbert is a Cape Town-based, one-man acoustic cover artist of popular songs ranging from modern day artists such as Ed Sheeran, George Ezra, Jason Mraz and John Mayer, to the classics by musicians like Queen, The Beatles, Frank Sinatra, Otis Redding and more.

12 November: Chris Rain

A soulful acoustic singer-songwriter and cover artist with an original and melodic approach to the songs he performs, Chris Rain is considered an ‘old soul’. He loves the music of simpler times and have dedicated most of his 11 years in the industry to perfect his talent and interpretation of songs.

19 November: Fritz Gun

Singer-songwriter and guitarist, Fritz Gun is a modern alternative acoustic artist from Pretoria. Featured locally and internationally, he often performs with various other musicians who complement his style and sound. Although he does cover songs, he believes in creating authentic, original music.

26 November: D&G (Divan van der Walt & Gia McKay)

Divan van der Walt is a talented music teacher, guitarist, keyboardist and singer. He performs with Gia Mckay, an outstanding singer-songwriter and pianist. Together, they offer contemporary classic pop cover and original material, ranging from upbeat sets to more chilled vibes.

Bring the kids along to enjoy the play area in the garden with games, jungle gyms and zip-lines, a tree house, swings and more. Lawn games for adults are also on offer.
