The Inspire Group | Inspire Africa Connect is proud to announce that on the 08th April 2023 marked an incredible milestone for Kenyan Football as the first Virtual Football Coaching Programme launched with 120 children and over 20 coaches in Nairobi connecting from four different locations in Nairobi.

FSV Mainz 05 e.V,  The Germany Embassy in Kenya and FESTAC AFRICA RENAISSANCE. A remarkable milestone indeed. “It was a successful first training session as the children were full of energy, active and interacting”, said Sebatian Schächter.

This program aims to identify young talent in Kenya in football and provide an opportunity for professional playing skills as well as coaching skills.  These training sessions are running monthly in Nairobi with the first round of training limited to only four pilot clubs were identified for their passion and determination to be part of this program.  Once the pilot programme is concluded, then a wider call to the broader football fraternity  will be extended to other coaches and kids who can equally benefit from the program.

A special Thank you to The Inspire Group | Inspire Africa Connect, Chairman Engr. Yinka Abioye, for his passion to empower the youth of Africa, to Sebastian Schächter, CEO Schächter Sports GmBH for making the time to train the kids and coaches to 1. FSV Mainz 05 e.V. and to Bundesliga for the opportunity to transform the game of football skills in Kenya and to the Group CEO of The Inspire Group Grace Mumo for wearing multiple hats to lead and be a trendsetter. The training was certainly effective.

Adding some valuable input to the training session, Engr. Yinka Abioye named three things that he took away from the meeting which should be implemented when on the soccer field. advising these future stars, he said, “pay attention to your environment, make quick decisions when you are on the field and always look for advantages”

This is part of our youth empowerment impact program to give back to Africa. You too can contribute by supporting the program.

These young and talented players were from from Mainstream Sports Academy, Young Achievers 009, Santos Soka Academy Kenya, Laini Saba Coffee Ministry, were incredible and had fun as they took turn in answering the questions that they were asked during the training and listing the 6 points a striker should always take note of when on the field.

Last and not least, a special thank to all the parents for allowing their children to be part of this incredible programme and trusting us to provide the best training where it is due.  we look forward to sharing more of these Inspire Africa impact stories with you.
