During aviation convention EBACE at Geneve, Dassault Aviation presented the cabin of its future aircraft: the Falcon 6X. Conceived for business trips only, this twin-jet can transport up to 16 passengers its added-value? Thanks to PurePower PW800 engines, the 6X is able to fly 10 196 kilometers (1 000 km/h) in one go.
A spacious and versatile cabin
During the convention, the French aircraft manufacturer unveiled a real-size model of its future twin-jet. Pointed as “the biggest cabin of all business jets” by Dassault, this one has generous sizes. For 12 meters in length, it’s almost two meters high and 2.58 meters wide.
Beating its main rival, the Gulfstream G500 (48.5m3), 6X’s cabin is 52.2 m3 and composed of three distinct spaces : a lounge, an office and a kitchen.
The Falcon 6X : A highly luxurious cabin
Besides its broadband connection, the Falcon 6X is equipped with sound suppression devices for a highly quiet travel. Moreover, its lounge has large seats and benches. A window set up on the ceiling lights the kitchen. The pilots will be able to enjoy aviation finest and latest softwares.
We will have to wait 2022 to finally see Falcon 6X up in the sky. Be ready to spend 47 millions dollars, or 42 millions euros, for this highly performant aircraft.
