This is the 10th edition of Turbine Art Fair
Turbine Art Fair (TAF) is a unique South African art fair that brings together galleries, artists and curators from around the country to showcase and sell contemporary art. Founded in 2013 by The Forum Company, TAF was the first accessible and affordable South African art fair aimed at small scale and emerging galleries as well as emerging artists and collectors, working toward growing the market for South African Contemporary art.

Tickets can be booked online (R150) or at the door (R180)at the door. Weekend Pass: R300 (Fri- Sun)
TAF Events: First Access Tickets: Thursday 21 July from 10 – 4. Tickets R500 (incl. Coffee & Cake) – visitors can enjoy the Fair, see the art and meet the gallerists ahead of the official opening. The TAF VIP Cocktail: Guests will enjoy drinks and snacks whilst they view the art and soak up the atmosphere that is uniquely TAF. The VIP Cocktail takes place on Thursday 21st July from 6pm: R900 (incl. Food & drinks).
TAF 22 will be showcasing 34 exhibitors, 5 special projects, xx artists featuring work across all artistic mediums such a prints and multiples, painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, textiles and so much more. The special projects include: TAF Unearthed, TAF Grad Show, TAF Capsule, and TAF Off the Grid.
TAF Talks & Walkabouts: Visitors will also be able to take part in the free daily, interactive Talk’s Programme. The talks give visitors an opportunity to learn more about the art world in South Africa, meet some of the great influencers in the world of art, collecting and design as well as some of the respected artists we have in south Africa and at Turbine Art Fair. Walkabouts of the fair will be conducted daily using wireless headsets with experts and art lovers. There are spaces for 20 people per walkabout. Booking of a first come first serve basis will be available on the website.
TAF Kids is back in 2022 with a kids programme in collaboration with Imbali Visual literacy Project & the Radisson Red Hotel. The programme is aimed at kids aged 5-12 years. The Kids programme is included in the TAF kids ticket price and will offer a variety of creative activities for kids to engage with art. Tickets are R75, booking is essential.
The TAF Shop – a curated gift shop during the fair; celebrating local businesses, craft, and styles. For this project we will be working with local brands to collaboratively produce select products both using the TAF branding as well as the work of the artists participating in our special projects. These products will then be sold at our shop at the fair and then exclusively on our website and via our social media channels
TAF is also in partnership with Artsy, the world’s largest online art marketplace.
